Linman & Associés is supporting one of its clients, a leading international industrial company in the food manufacturing industry, in the recruitment of its future Site Manager F/H.
Location: Baie-d’Urfé (Montreal, Quebec, Canada).
Poste
Rattaché(e) à la Direction des Opérations, vous prenez la responsabilité complète du site industriel de Baie d’Urfé et accompagnez sa transformation dans un environnement de près de 400 collaborateurs.
À ce titre, vous :
- Définissez et déployez la stratégie industrielle du site en cohérence avec les orientations du Groupe, tout en garantissant la performance globale des opérations (sécurité, qualité, service, coûts, productivité et fiabilité).
- Animez, fédérez et développez l’équipe de direction ainsi que l’ensemble des relais managériaux afin de renforcer l’engagement, la performance collective et le développement des compétences.
- Garantissez la continuité des opérations en assurant une coordination efficace entre les fonctions Production, Maintenance, Qualité, Supply Chain, Ressources Humaines et les fonctions support.
- Pilotez les projets de transformation, d’investissement, de modernisation des outils industriels et d’amélioration continue afin de renforcer durablement la compétitivité du site.
- Développez une culture de responsabilisation, d’excellence opérationnelle, de coopération transverse et de prise de décision au sein des équipes.
- Veillez à la qualité du dialogue social et assurez le respect des obligations légales, réglementaires et conventionnelles.
- Garantissez les plus hauts standards en matière de qualité, de sécurité alimentaire, de santé-sécurité au travail et de maîtrise des risques industriels.
- Représentez le site auprès du Groupe et évoluez dans un environnement international, en collaboration étroite avec les équipes françaises et les différentes parties prenantes.

Reporting to the Operations Leadership, you will assume full responsibility for the Baie d’Urfé manufacturing site, leading its operations and transformation in a dynamic environment of approximately 400 employees.
In this role, you will:
- Define and execute the site’s industrial strategy in alignment with the Group’s objectives while ensuring excellence in safety, quality, service, cost, productivity, and operational reliability.
- Lead, develop, and inspire the site leadership team and management structure, fostering engagement, accountability, and high-performance across the organization.
- Ensure seamless day-to-day operations by promoting strong collaboration between Production, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, Human Resources, and support functions.
- Drive strategic transformation initiatives, capital investment projects, modernization programs, and continuous improvement efforts to strengthen the site’s long-term competitiveness.
- Build a culture of ownership, operational excellence, cross-functional collaboration, and disciplined execution.
- Foster constructive labor relations while ensuring compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, and collective agreement requirements.
- Ensure the highest standards of quality, food safety, occupational health and safety, and industrial risk management.
- Represent the Baie d’Urfé site within the Group and operate effectively in an international, multicultural environment, working closely with stakeholders in France and across the organization.
Profil
FORMATION :
Vous êtes idéalement titulaire d’un diplôme d’études supérieures en ingénierie, gestion industrielle, opérations, supply chain ou dans une discipline connexe.
EXPÉRIENCE :
Vous justifiez d’au moins 10 ans d’expérience dans des fonctions de Direction de Site ou de Direction Industrielle, idéalement dans l’agroalimentaire ou les produits de grande consommation.
Vous avez piloté des sites de taille significative, conduit des projets de transformation industrielle et démontré votre capacité à concilier performance opérationnelle, management des équipes et gestion des enjeux sociaux.
Une expérience au sein d’un groupe international, avec des interactions régulières avec un siège ou des équipes basées en France, est fortement appréciée.
QUALITÉS RECHERCHÉES :
Vous disposez d’une solide expertise en pilotage de site industriel et en amélioration continue, vous permettant de conduire la performance opérationnelle et les projets de transformation.
Leader reconnu, vous savez fédérer les équipes, prendre des décisions et accompagner le changement dans des environnements exigeants.
Vous maîtrisez le pilotage budgétaire, les indicateurs de performance ainsi que le management d’équipes pluridisciplinaires, tout en favorisant un dialogue social constructif.
Enfin, votre vision stratégique, vos qualités relationnelles et votre aisance dans un environnement multiculturel vous permettent d’évoluer efficacement au sein d’une organisation internationale.

EDUCATION :
You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
EXPÉRIENCE :
You bring at least 10 years of experience in Plant Management or Industrial Leadership, ideally within the food manufacturing or consumer goods (FMCG) industry.
You have successfully led large manufacturing sites, driven industrial transformation initiatives, and demonstrated your ability to balance operational performance, people leadership, and labor relations.
Experience within an international organization, with regular interaction with a corporate headquarters or teams based in France, is considered a strong asset.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS :
You have strong expertise in plant management and continuous improvement, enabling you to drive operational excellence and lead transformation projects.
You are a recognized leader who can inspire teams, make sound decisions, and successfully manage change in demanding manufacturing environments.
You are experienced in budget management, performance monitoring, and leading multidisciplinary teams while fostering constructive labor relations.
Finally, your strategic mindset, interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment allow you to thrive within an international organization.
