Linman & Associates is currently recruiting a Country Manager Germany F/M for one of its clients, a major player in the food industry.

Poste

Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be in charge of managing the business and ensuring the presence of the company and its products in the relevant market.

As Country Manager Germany F/M, your main responsibilities are:

Strategy

  • Manage the operational management of the area and build its development according to the defined commercial strategy, identifying business opportunities.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to the management and be proactive in proposing ideas.
  • Contribute to the strategic development choices in the area (distribution channels, accounts, range recommendations).

Negotiation

  • Identify and prospect new accounts (food service, key accounts, coffee shops).
  • Negotiate pricing and logistical conditions.

Financial Management

  • Manage and monitor the operating account of the relevant area.
  • Ensure the result and profitability of the area, monitoring commercial margins.

Objectives & Budgets

  • Set objectives and define the budget, presenting it to the Sales Department.
  • Anticipate, manage, and analyze any potential budget variances.

Marketing and Communication

  • Contribute to the implementation of marketing tools in coordination with the Marketing Department.
  • Contribute to the implementation of trade marketing actions.
  • Participate in adapting product and service offerings to the relevant markets.

Management

  • Recruit, manage, and monitor the sales teams based in the area (2 people).
  • Provide regular reporting to the management.

Profil

You hold a higher education degree from Business Schools or equivalent, specializing in international trade/import/export within the food industry.

You bring a minimum of 8 years of significant experience in an international food industry, specifically in the food service sector in Germany.

Possessing strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a curious mindset, you have a well-established network within the German food service sector.
Your traits of rigor, reliability, and autonomy enable you to exhibit a strong commercial drive to deliver on projects assigned by our client.

Proficient with numbers, you demonstrate leadership and a commitment to contributing to the company’s growth.

You are fluent in English.
